Topcon Added the R series lenses to their selection in about 1958 these lenses where pre-set lenses. The 300mm F2.8 was in its time the fastest 300mm lens in the world . They where even sold with Nikon mounts until Nikon made its own 300 F2.8. This is a rare lens and not common found.
