Tanack are Japanese Leica copies made from late 1952 by Tanaka Kogaku and supplied with Tanar lenses. The company made attempts at producing mare advanced rangefinder cameras to start the competition with Leitz.
Tanack IV-S a Japanese Leica copy similar to the Leica 111B with differences.
The most notable having flash sync, and the easy to use hinged back for
film loading. This is #78271 a late model with correct matching chrome and
black lens. An excellent example of a Japanese Leica copy with added small
differences.
