Rolleiflex 2.8E type 1 (1956-1959). with Planar lens and EV case. Recently serviced

This is the last 2.8 model with a non-removable hood. It is distinguished from previous models in that the self-timer is combined with the sync control lever. On previous models the self-timer had a separate lever. Additionally the magnifier on this model and on all subsequent models is rigid, while the magnifier on previous models swings up on two hinges. Other features : MX synchronization , EVS system , T type light meter or provision therefor, double exposure provision , EVS system guide on the back of door, distance scale on focusing knob, sports finder, and eye level critical focusing.
