The Yashica FX-1 is a classic 35mm single-lens reflex (SLR) camera introduced in 1975. It holds a significant place in photographic history as the very first Yashica camera to feature the Contax/Yashica (C/Y) bayonet mount. This shared mount allowed photographers to pair the body with affordable Yashica ML lenses or legendary, high-end Carl Zeiss T* optics.
