Asahi Optical is an old camera maker in Japan which go’s back to around 1929 and was a very good quality lens maker. They where the first Japanese maker of the return mirror camera system with interchangeable lenses. The camera’s they made where always very much ahead of there time. This model is a combination of the Leica and Praktina models of this period. Well built items with a waist level and action finder as well as the interchangeable lenses on this camera’s with there special 37mm screw mount. This model has more shutter speeds as the slow speed dial is now on the front like some of the Leica screw mount models.

Condition  mechanical :  Camera works fine, all the speeds work, Mirror operates fast

Condition external: The camera looks OK , no dents the plating in this period is not as good as the German camera’s.
