The Canon IVSB was after the IIB the second most important rangefinder camera model in Canon’s history. It was the first Canon to make an appreciable impact on overseas markets. Since like all it Canon contemporaries it was sturdy and reliable, that impact was a decidedly positive one.

Frame counter: Manually set from 39 to 0 at base of camera-top rewind knob. Film speed indicator dial on to P of rewind knob.
