This is the other close-up specialist in the Carl Zeiss lens range for Hasselblad cameras. The optical characteristic of the Makro-Planar T 135 is very similar to the Makro-Planar 120mm lens . However there is a significant difference; the Makro-Planar 135mm lens comes without focusing device. This is because this lens is designed to be used with the Hasselblad bellows extension. In this combination the photographer has a camera that can quickly focus from infinity down to life size without any further accessories. Also it is equipped with a fast central shutter, offering flash synchronisation to 1/500secs. This high performance combination is unique  in medium format and proves very useful in scientific industrial , technical and nature photography on location and in the studio. Special purpose macro lens for extreme close-ups with the Hasselblad Automatic Bellows Extension

Hasselblad Automatic Bellows connects the camera to the lens allowing you to operate the camera as though the lens is directly connected to the camera. The Automatic Bellows offers adjustable knobs and extension range of 63.5mm to 202mm. Coupled with the Makro-Planar 135mm lens delivers a focusing range from infinity to reproduction scale of 1:1. Bellows are advised for close-up photography with all other Hasselblad lenses.
