The XV lens adapter allows V system lenses to be used on the X1D camera. Please note that this requires the use of the electronic shutter in the camera, as the adapter has no means to control the lens shutter. Mount the adapter on the camera in the same way as a regular lens. Before attaching the lens , make sure that the shutter is open and fully wound, If not the shutter in the lens is closed.
