Konica M-Hexanon 28mm F2.8 lens for rangefinder Hexar.
This lens wit its 7 group- lens structure uses glass with a high refraction index to effectively correct astigmatic aberration and all other distortion. It has excellent defination at all points in its range from 0,7m to infinnity. It is a lens highly suitable for snap photography using a large depth of field by means of the aperture and ithas the feeling of distance that is peculiar to wide-angle lenses. Even at F2.8 opening , this lens maintains high resolution from the center of the image all the way tot he edges . Changing the aperture to f5.6 improves contrast at the periphery to almost the same level as the center valeu to give the entire field an image of uniformly high quality.
