Leica MDa body chrome. (1970).
The Leica MD a was the successor of the Leica MD. And has been produced from 1966 until 1976. The most important changes from the MD are , angled rewind crank and the fitting of the quick loading system of the Leica M4 series. These cameras where also called post cameras because they where also used as recording camera for meters from the postal services.
