Leica R3 Electronic Chrome body in makers box. #10031 Rare to find camera.
€325.00
Model R3 by Leica is an automatic reflex camera with aperture priority. There is a twin measuring system in it. The selective measurement (explained on Leicaflex SL) can be replaced by an average one, which uses the two cells in the prism together with the spot cell. Thus you have three cells that work in average measuring. There is preponderance on the lower cell. You can switch from one mode to the other moving the white dot knob seen on the photo.
The electronic shutter is named CLS because of a co-operation between Copal and Leitz.
This body was made in collaboration with Minolta in Portugal. The chrome versions are only made in a very low production.
