Nikon FM2 chrome Half frame camera. Rare to find camera.

Nikon made was produced from 1982 until 2001. The camera was updated in 1984 to the FM2. The camera was a semi-professional camera and a great success for Nikon. The shutter was a metal bladed focal plane shutter with speeds from 1sec to 1/4000sec and B setting. With a flash syncro from 1/1250 sec. This Half frame model was made in very small numbers for the Scandinavian Police for Mugshots. It was told only a batch of 100 cameras where produced. The transport was altered to make a ½ advance to make the 18mm. the frame counter counts 36 takes but when the transport is made it takes 2 strokes to change a number. The light-meter is not actuated, so it’s a fully mechanical camera. Rare camera to find. Last auctions sales priced it € 4000,
