Rare Nikon Micro flex Microscope Attachment (ser#30234) for the Nikon Rangefinder Cameras (S2 S3 S4 SP). Approximately 700 of these were made between 1955 and 1964. This one is complete and in excellent plus condition. The shutter works and all lenses are clear and scratch-free. Again, this is for the rangefinder Nikons, not the Nikon F SLR. There were four known versions. This one may be the Type II version. The Type II had shutter speeds up to 1/200sec according to some reference material. Later versions had a shutter that went to 1/300sec. Total weight in the wood box is about 2.2 Kg.
