This Olympus Flex model is made as a copy of the Rolleiflex 2.8 The lenses have the bayonet shape mount. The transport is automatic and the knobs for exposure and diaphragm are located on the same manner as the Rolleiflex The flash socket is fitted on the front. The focusing hood has a magnifier. Most of the Olympus flexes have soft lenses and are vulnerable fore fungus.

The original model has both the advance knob and the focus knob on the right-hand side . There are 2 wheels on the front , 1 for speed and 1 for aperture setting, imitating the Rolleiflex controls. The shutter is a Seikosha-Rapid B-1 to 1/400 sec in nr O size. Both lenses are 7.5cm F2.8 and have bayonet filter attachments , The taking lens is a six element F Zuiko and the viewing-lens is a Zuiko F. The camera was released in 1952, at the time , it was called Olympusflex with no version name.

This example is very clean. (please look at the pictures)They are offered more, but not in this condition!!!!! Not many are around.
