It is a standard focal-length lens with the fastest maximum aperture of F 1.2 currently available. Despite the fast lens speed , high resolving power shows no edge fall-off in the picture. It produces extremely pleasing out-of-focus effects at full aperture. It permits close-up up to 45cm subject distance . Very useful on night photography taking advance of the F1.2 maximum aperture.
Notes : Accurate focusing is required at full lens opening since the depth-of-field is extremely shallow.
