The OM 2 retains the same characteristics as the OM-1 , but adds an electronic shutter for automatic aperture-preferred exposure control, and to go with it the revolutionary TTL (direct-off-the –film ) light measuring method. On “ manual” the OM2 works in exactly the same way as the OM-1 and has exactly the same performance. The OM-2n can be instantly switched between manual and auto modes at the flip of a selector lever.
