This relay cord is used to connect the motor drive ½ to either the Control Grip 1 or the M.AC Control Box. This cord allows the photographer to carry the Control Grip 1 in his pocket to reduce the weight and bulk of hand-held equipment , or to prevent the battery degradation in extremely cold temperatures or to perform comfortable picture taking with a tripod.
