An extra ordinary light and compact zoom only 51mm long , and 190 grams. Adopts a 3-group type zoom mechanism in which the front two groups move to change the focal length. Although the lens has a variable open aperture value, when it is stopped down to F4.5 or more aperture remains constant throughout the zooming range. Superbly convenient handling, and wide-angle to short telephoto range, make this an excellent lens for general use. The zoom function is ideal for precise spot meter readings.
