This lens was the last addition to the Pen FT system made from August 1968 until April 1970 when the system was discontinued . The 38mm macro lens was exclusively for Pen FT. The lens is a Gauss type construction and is almost identical in dimensions and weight to the 40mm F1.4 lens. However the front element is set deeply in to the body of the lens and the focusing ring rotates through 340˚ operating dual helicoids to move the elements through a full 25mm from 50mm at infinity to 75mm the closest focus. This lens was made from 1967 to 1970 . This lens was the last addition to the Pen-F system. Around 4000pieces where produced. This lens was only made fore the Pen-FT system and is a Gauss-type lens. Focusing from ∞ 15,8 cm and a macro ratio of 0.5:1. A very scarce lens to find and in good condition.
