Made from January 1966 to September 1970, some 13.222 where produced. The pancake was designed for the Pen FT , it features a 5 element in 4 groups and is designated E Zuiko Auto-S on the bezel. Finished in a mixture of black anodized aluminum and plastic it is extraordinarily slim and lightweight At 70 gram it is only half the weight of the 38mm F1.8 standard lens. It is a masterpiece in design . The super slim design is extra ordinary.
