The MC 2X teleconverter increases the focal length of any Kiev lens you use by 2 times.
Even though there is a 2 stop loss in effective aperture , the 2X teleconverter maintains the closest focusing distance of the lens you use. The lens aperture will still work automatically. Optical block is separable. When the lens unit is taken of the converter it can be used as a macro tube.
