The Rollei 35 is  35mm miniature viewfinder camera built by Rollei. The original Rollei 35 was introduced at the Photokina in 1966 at this time it was the smallest existing 35mm film camera. This remains so after the Minolta-TC and Minox 35mm models. In 30 years of production around 2 million Rollei 35 where built The Rollei 35 was manufactured by DHW photo Technik up to 2015, this was the successor of Franke& Heidecke  in a small production batch. The last model was the Rollei 35 Classic an updated Rollei 35SE. The Sonnar 40mm F28 HFT is the best and fastest lens used on the Rollei’s. It was designed by Carl Zeiss with 5 elements in four groups and has the Rollei HFT multi Coating. The Sonnar is one of the finest lens designs of the 20^th century
