The model V has many innovations which were to remain with the Rolleicord line for the balance of its production time. The EVS System ( exposure value system sometimes called LVS light value system ) , a film type reminder on the focusing knob , MXV synchronization, also coated lenses and bayonet on both lenses.

Identifiers : The Rolleicord V is the only model that has a large focusing knob on the right side. All previous models have a small focusing knob ( on the right side) All subsequent models have the large knob on the left.

Factory Designation : Rolleicord V 6×6.

Production date: 1954-1957.

Serial numbers : 1.500.000 ™ 1.583.999.
