This lens was made for use with the Kodak Retina rangefinder camera’s with interchangeable lens system. The back part of the camera lens stays in place and the front part of the lens after the shutter is taken of and replaced by a Wide-angle or telephoto lens. This can be done on the 1B / IIC and IIIC series. This was done in the perspective that the shutter and the diaphragm stayed on the camera  so this  didt not cost a lot of money to make these lenses. The lens was sold in a plastic bubble where a part was the lens shade. This lens is made for use with Kodak Retina IIc (020) Retina IIIc (021), Retina IIC (029) , Retina IIIC (028) and Retina reflex (025)  which have a Retina -Xenar C f:2.8 or f:2 50 mm standard lens.

Condition exterior :    Nice no heavy users wear, clean and nice

Focusing :   With camera , this lens has no helicoid.

Bayonet : In clean order

Filter mount :  No dents no marks.

Glass :  Fine, no fungus , no marks no separation. Inside the lens the black coating is les on some places. Please look at the pictures.

The bubble is the lens shade also.

Important note: This Schneider-Kreuznach component cannot be interchanged with cameras equipped with a Rodenstock (Heligon) standard lens, as their bayonet mounts are physically incompatible.
