This accessory allows the user to mount a flash on the side of this bracket, rather than rely on the accessory shoe, that has the nasty habit of severely damaging the black plastic viewfinder surround into wich it slides. Designed only for Pen F, as FT tripod bush was moved to the right of the bottom plate allowing the flash, for example, to be fitted direct to the bush.
