Introduced in January 1964 and made primarily for the Pen F model. This lens was produced until August 1970 with a minor design update in 1966 when the invertible aperture ring for use with the Pen FT was added. This is one of 2 25mm wide-angle lenses made by Olympus and has five elements in 5 groups construction. E zuiko designation on the bezel. It is equivalent to 35mm wide-angle lenses on a full frame 35mm SLR. This is the most common of the wide-angle lenses in the Pen F system.
