This lens has the widest view angle (100 º ) of all the OM super wide-angle lenses. The convex lens elements in the front lens group correct distortion aberration so that straight lines come out straight. At the same time , they make possible the extremely compact design. The wide-angle and bright F3.5 aperture make this lens excellent for shooting buildings and tight interiors. Focusing and composition are easy too. The exclusive Olympus internal focusing system also corrects for close-up aberrations and maintains peripheral image quality even at close distances. Highly exaggerated perspective effects can be utilized for imaginative creative work.
